about this recording:
The dramatic construction of the Brockes Passion, which was very popular at the time of its creation, fascinates especially through its song-like, and yet, noble melodies, as well as through the use of unusual instruments, such as bagpipes and carillon. We were able to engage well-known soloist for this live concert recording.
