Space Time, Chorochronos, is the title of the new CD with works from the pen of the young Greek composer Minas Borboudakis. For me it is a premiere, so to speak, in terms of my contact with Borboudakis’ compositions. The first time I heard Chorochronos II, a new dimension of listening experience came into being in and for me. His music seemed to me like a musical description of the cosmos. The silvery timbre of crotals that suggests the flickering of the stars, monumental explosions of sound similar to an eruption of the sun symbolize the vastness of the planets Jupiter and Saturn.
